Episode 75: 2021 Toyota GR Supra, Hyundai Santa Fe and the latest JD Power APPEAL Study

One year after the relaunch of the Supra, Toyota is raising the bar for the 2021 GR Supra with six-cylinder models that leap ahead with a power boost and returned chassis, while the first ever four-cylinder turbo model joins the line.

Join Jack and Chris this Saturday September 18 at 7am EST on the SportsMap Radio Network, and listen in as they cover the new 2021 Supra and the Hyundai Santa Fe. In the News Segment, they’ll discuss the latest study from JD Power. On the strength of some very successful new vehicle launches for 2021, the auto industry continued the trend of producing more appealing vehicles year over year. The Chevrolet Tahoe, Ford Bronco Sport, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Nissan Sentra, and Toyota Sienna are among the all-new or re-designed models whose performances helped boost the industry's overall emotional appeal this year. At the same time, consumers continued to overlook product shortcomings in vehicles in which they are invested emotionally. Those are key conclusions to be drawn from the J.D. Power 2021 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study.

This week’s exclusive interview guest is Bob Welby, Infiniti Senior Director of operations for Infiniti. He will tell us all about what’s going on at Infiniti and in particular about the new Infiniti QX60.
