California’s Electric Vehicle Gambit

On August 25, 2022, the California Air Resources Board approved Advanced Clean Cars II Rules, which would effectively ban the the sale of internal combustion vehicles (ICE) by the year 2035. Specifically, the rule plan that would require automotive dealerships in the Golden State to sell only zero emission cars by 2035.
